ImpulseRadar is proud to present CrossOver, a state-of-the-art dual-channel 2D GPR solution built on the latest Real-Time Sampling (RTS) technology. Designed around a modern and highly flexible platform to serve a broad range of applications, CrossOver takes the benefits of RTS-based GPR to the next level by enabling data collection across two major frequency bands, while giving you the ability to add functionality based on your needs.
CrossOver – more than dual-frequency
CrossOver – more than dual-frequency
RTS-based GPR antenna designs have already proven their effectiveness against conventional designs in relation to performance improvements (increased dynamic range, sensitivity, and depth penetration). These performance improvements have seen single-channel RTS-based antenna designs compared to that of conventional dual-frequency systems. ImpulseRadar’s CrossOver with its dual-channel RTS-based design takes this to another level by enabling you to improve the efficiency and quality of your surveys. You will be able to see full depth range whilst maintaining resolution for maximum data clarity and quality, which in turn facilitates better visualization for more accurate picking of points of interest.
CrossOver is fast and easily operates at a level to match survey speed, whether hand pushed/pulled or vehicle mounted. Thereby, ensuring high quality of data for optimum results.
CrossOver accurately synchronizes all collected radar data with corresponding GPS coordinates through a unique dual-GPS process to give the highest possible data quality and positional accuracy to a precision of 1 millisecond.
CrossOver CO4080 Antenna
The CO4080 is the first in a series of CrossOver antennas that will enable quicker surveys with improved performance. It incorporates two channels with ultra-wideband frequencies centered around 400 MHz and 800 MHz making it ideally suited for a range of common GPR applications. The extra-large bandwidth offers exceptional dynamic range for maximum signal penetration, data clarity, and quality.
CrossOver CO1760 Antenna
The CO1760 is the second in a series of CrossOver antennas that will enable quicker surveys with improved performance. It incorporates two channels with ultra-wideband frequencies centered around 170 MHz and 600 MHz making it ideally suited for a range of common GPR applications. The extra-large bandwidth offers exceptional dynamic range for maximum signal penetration, data clarity, and quality.
CE & FCC approved
CrossOver CO730 Antenna
The CO730 is the third in a series of CrossOver antennas that will enable quicker surveys with improved performance. It incorporates two channels with ultra-wideband frequencies centered around 70 MHz and 300 MHz making it ideally suited for GPR applications requiring deeper penetration. The extra-large bandwidth offers exceptional dynamic range for maximum signal penetration, data clarity, and quality.
The CrossOver Cart provides an efficient way to move the antenna over a range of surfaces for the rapid collection of 2D GPR data. The CrossOver Cart comes in two sizes, one to fit the CO4080 antenna and the other to fit the slightly larger CO1760 antenna. When used with a suitable antenna tray insert, the CO1760 Cart can also comfortably hold the smaller CO4080 antenna. Regardless of the size, the antenna can easily be fitted into the Cart and can remain secured in place even when the battery needs changing. The handle assembly is fully foldable to reduce the physical footprint, making transportation and storage much more efficient. The complete assembly can be moved easily from site to site and configured for use within a matter of minutes.
CrossPoint Visualisation Software
CrossPoint visualization software for processing, interpretation, and analysis of ground penetrating radar data.
CrossPoint offers a practical approach to managing single or multi-line data sets, including online map support, for efficient subsurface mapping.
Designed primarily to support the CrossOver series of dual-channel antennas, CrossPoint also supports Raptor data files, as well as some third-party GPR file formats.
The user-friendly interface provides effective tools for filter assignment and data processing, marking points of interest within radar profiles, visualizing markers on support maps, and exporting markers for geo-referencing within suitable CAD/GIS platforms.
CrossOver Single-Channel Options
CrossOver is also available as a single-channel option for those who do not require the full dual-channel configuration, or whose budget constraints demand an entry-level solution at lower cost.
This option gives you access to our cutting-edge GPR technology, but with the flexibility you need. We offer the unique ability to upgrade single-channel antennas to full dual-channel configurations later, via remote activation.
Note on channel activation:
An antenna that is configured for single-channel operation may later be upgraded to enable second-channel activation. However, the center-frequency pairings are fixed according to the type of CrossOver antenna, as per the specification above.
